Multicultural Storytime Playgroups

SMECC Playgroups provide a safe place for parents of all ethnic backgrounds to socialise and play together with their children. Since the start of 2024, our playgroups have included reading bilingual books in several different languages that reflect our local cultural diversity. 

This program is often run in partnership with external Early Childhood services. We welcome guest speakers from a wide range of other services, including health organisations, to engage with our families.

• Playgroup is for parents and their children from 6 months to 5 years of age.
• Our Playgroup runs twice a week, Monday and Wednesday from 10am to 12pm.
